From Rio de Janeiro, in the midst of sounds of birds, screams and horns, going through beaches, forests and tight buses, Tropical Hip is the music that comes from me, Arthur Mendes. Inspired by the peace of reggae, the energy of rock, the engaging joy of Latin American rhythms and the wholeness of psychedelic art, my songs feature a little bit of what goes on in studio comfort, when I create the purest and most spontaneous message I have to pass on.
