Aizay is a rapper from Lagos, Nigeria. Born in 2001, his earliest introduction to Hiphop/rap goes back to when he would always hear his older brothers play rap music from their mobile phones back when he was as young as 7. Aizay considers lil Wayne, Eminem and kendrick Lamar to be his earlier influences while Young thug and Future to be the major influences to his more recent style. Starting to write raps when he was 13, Aizay never really got the chance to go into the studio and record a demo majorly because he had really strict parents who would always keep him indoors and tightly monitor his whereabouts. No one really knew about his musical side until 2018 when he started recording freestyles on his phone and uploading to SoundCloud. This brought him recognition amongst his peers and confidence that his dreams could be reality.
