My debut EP 'Memories' is out now 🦋
Now part of the 10 french artists selected for the JBL Academy, GR!DR's music is as much inspired by his past and experiences as by the current environment around him. The artist takes us into this universe through introspective pieces, where the emotions that drive him to compose are transposed onto us.
His interest in music began at the age of 8, when he started playing the piano. However, it was only at the age of 13 that he really got into music production and started thinking about creating a world of his own. We're in the early 2010s, at the emergence of EDM with Avicii & Martin Garrix as his main role models. Over the years, the young French producer has moved through several styles, including Big Room, Progressive House and Bass House. He has been a member of EDM-producer groups that have spawned artists such as Brooks (Martin Garrix, David Guetta), Olly James and Curbi, signed to Spinnin Records. In 2021, GR!DR posted a tribute video to Daft Punk on Twitter, and received the support of San Holo, the famous Dutch DJ and producer.
Today, his musical color is closer to Future Bass and Future Pop, via Indie-Rock sounds. His music allows him to tell a story in his own way, while allowing his listeners to identify with it.
