Alberto Fiori, a composer, producer, and performer born in Rome and based in Berlin, explores themes of time and memory through his music. With a Master’s degree in Applied Music from Ferrara’s G. Frescobaldi Conservatory and a background in composition, conducting and sound design, he embraces a versatile approach, using different instruments and mediums to shape his artistic expression.
A pianist from an early age, Fiori began his career immersed in contemporary jazz, always searching for new and unconventional elements. In 2010, he released “The Perfect Blue”, a collaborative jazz album, and went on to compose scores for numerous theater, video and dance projects. His artistic curiosity then led him to experimental electronic music with ‘’Seven Songs for a Disaster’’, a bold project co-created with Francesco Guerri under the duo Nagel, released by the Italian label Trovarobato.
Drawn to Berlin's dynamic music scene, Fiori found fresh inspiration in the city's techno culture, releasing two EPs, *Fantala* (2018) and *Pas Encore* (2020), under the alias Blumen Meister: both tracks from *Fantala* were ranked 9th and 12th in the Top 100 of Resident Advisor's 2018 DJ charts.
Now, Fiori comes full circle, returning to his first love: the piano. His debut solo piano album, *Berliner Zimmer*, set for release on November 22nd, fulfills a dream he has envisioned since his teenage years.
