Winds of Winter is an extreme metal band from Saarland (Germany), that combines powerful, atmospheric soundscapes with energetic riffs and captivating melodies. The band was founded in 2023 in Dillingen/Saar by Tower and consists of the musicians Strnk and Tower, who together bring their musical vision to life: telling compelling stories through their music.
Influenced by the melodic black and death metal of the 90s, as well as inspired by literature, philosophy, the forces of nature, and the occult, Winds of Winter creates an intense listening experience that delves into inner conflicts, existential questions, and emotional depth.
The debut EP Dark Chamaleon Dimers, released on December 20, 2024, blends dense atmospheres with catchy melodies and distinctive lyrics. It marks an important milestone in the band's development and defines their signature sound.
Following the release of the EP, Winds of Winter is focusing on the production of their first full-length album, aiming to further expand their style and explore new musical dimensions. At the same time, the band is working on assembling a live lineup to bring their music to the stage.
