Born in Kasachstan, his family moved to Germany when Karlos was three. As a young adult he became inspired by artists such as Chris Brown, Jeremih, and Ty Dolla Sign, he saw music as a source of happiness and healing. After deciding he wanted to pursue a music career, he studied music production, compositions, and management at the University of Stuttgart. Karlos Ty continues to cultivate his sound, experimenting with different sounds and using music as a tool to communicate expressive storytelling.
