I Studied The Greats I'm The Greatest Right Now
Gladwin Pfukani Ngobeni, better known as Sadistic Zombie, is a South African rapper and songwriter from N'wamitwa, Tzaneen. Zombie started rapping at the age of Sixteen when he was doing his 11th grade, and has since successfully juggled his music career and academics. Rapping has always been a hobby to him, Sadistic grew up scrabbling lyrics but never made a record until 2019, when he made music which never aired. He has always been involved with his hometown acts such as SLAY & Clesh as they collaborated to give Neen the hit singles, Bella Chica & Muchacha in 2020. As an upcoming artist Zombie has worked with many other artists from Tzaneen who also want to have their breakthrough. The pandemic really restricted the young musician's movements and he couldn't promote Muchacha by going to performances, but instead hosted an online competition which saw many people creating videos dancing or rather twerking to the song. Zombie managed to make all these moves while in his final year of high school and he is now currently in the University of Cape Town far from his hometown. Even though he has a lot of academic work in his hands he decided that 2021 is the year to go digital - which brings us here. He has since decided to put all his old high school records in all the digital platforms and also release an Afro-Beat hit with Zambian artist on the rise, El Jae. The song is titled "Ku Lusaka" and it has helped him extend his fanbase.
